Local Law Enforcement
Approximately 50 automobiles have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the German municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, according to police.
Cars, building surfaces and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they reported in a official communication.
Police state they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a individual noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish liquid.
The fluid had been drawn in the pattern of a swastika, they added.
Law enforcement then found numerous other marked automobiles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.
Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.
Law enforcement state preliminary tests suggest the fluid was most likely human bodily fluid.
"There is still no clue as to where it came from; officials are presently not aware of any physical harm in relation with the event," they added.
Local authorities stated they were attempting "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the community for details.
An important political figure stated the vandalism left him speechless and had to be resolved rapidly.
"This act strikes at the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he wrote on a platform, mentioning the murder of nine victims by a gunman focusing on individuals of foreign heritage in 2020.
